Pork Panko Mozzarella Sticks

This recipe for mozzarella sticks is a perfect party snack or appetizer. We baked it for a healthier spin, and it's keto-friendly to boot. Make sure to freeze the cheese! That way it holds its shape as you bake it in the oven. You could even add your own herb seasonings in the Pork Panko mix-- the sky's the limit!


Yield: 12 mozzarella sticks


  • 6 mozzarella sticks, cut in half
  • 1/2 cup Pork Panko
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 tsp water
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

Step 1

Cut the mozzarella sticks in half.

Step 2

Whisk together the egg and water.

Step 3

Mix together the Pork Panko and Parmesan cheese in a shallow baking dish.

Roll the sticks in the egg mixture, then coat with the Pork Panko mixture.

Step 5

Place them on a baking dish, and freeze for 3 or more hours.

Step 6

Place the pan in a preheated 500F oven for 6-8 minutes or until golden brown. Serve them immediately and enjoy!
